Thank You, novel

Yesterday, while vainly googling my name, I found the review below by accident.

My vanity was humbled by what I read. What an enchanting and romantic vision of what I do. Although there are a few inaccuracies, (i.e. I do not brush my teeth in the kitchen sink, even pre-covid, and I have lived in Cobh for almost two decades,) I loved reading every word. But that’s what writing is all about; adding some (menthol flavoured) spice to life.

From the eyes of the beholder I see with fresh eyes. Thank you, novel for helping me experience a new pride in the work I love, yet often take for granted.

No vanity needed.
